Tesco: “No Naughty List” - 60s

According to this irreverent Tesco ad, Santa has ditched the naughty list for 2020, which is good news for the likes of Dominic Cummings, Margaret Ferrier, and Donald Trump. Of course, Blue Supermarket have more innocuous misdeeds in mind.

These include bad lockdown haircuts, hoarding toilet paper, and not donating to Captain Tom Moore’s charity walk. In Tesco’s opinion, such lapses in judgement deserve to be swept under the carpet after our collective year from hell.

Playfully scored by Britney Spears's 'Oops!... I Did It Again', the ad spares viewers any try-hard attempts at introspection or moralising. The question is whether the brand can cope with the numbers keen to enjoy a guilt-free Christmas.
