Fry of your life.

Taco Bell: “Nacho Fries” - 60s

This action-packed take on nacho fries brings an anime-style twist to the Taco Bell menu. Director Luca Vitale takes his cues from classic series including Neon Genesis Evangelion and Mobile Suit Gundam to present a battle of giant mecha-droids for the ages, weaving in a broken friendship and drive for revenge along the way.

The 60" film's execution is so polished that it's hard to believe there isn't a full show of purple mobile suits in the offing. Yet the action is grounded by an admirable commitment to food puns, as the "hungry for hope" Fry Force guard their precious spiced chips thanks to the brand's recognisable signs. A well-judged blend of cheerful commercial cheese and artistic authenticity.
