The Schwimmer takes it all.

by Andrew MacGregor

TSB: “Spend and Save” - 60s

Following in the footsteps of Kevin Bacon and, to a lesser extent, David Hasselhoff, David Schwimmer is the latest American actor to explore UK culture. As well as eating 99s and driving his camper van across golf courses, Schwimmer draws attention to TSB's new Spend & Save current account with an arch, breezy charm.

Itís a marked tonal shift from the bankís animated campaign voiced by Kelly Macdonald, with viewers now treated to paintball gunfire and a talking dog, among other things. Tune into the adís quirky frequency and there is much to enjoy, including Schwimmerís mid-career tilt at arthouse glory. Another wry bid to leave Ross Geller behind.
