Subway: “Vegang” - 7 mins 02s

The war against lockdown boredom takes an unexpected turn in this seven-minute documentary-cum-music promo for Subway. While many viewers kill time nowadays through baking, gardening, DIY, etc., grime artist P Money and producers Star. One prefer to investigate what plants sound like. It really has been a long year.

Yet there’s more to the trio's experiment than meets the ear. All three men are vegans, and they aim to provide a new take on life without animal products. The result—performed in a green-hued recording studio, no less—may be the first rap song to contain the word 'chickpeas'.

Whether P Money includes this on his next set list remains to be seen, but he still makes a decent case for a vegan diet. Perhaps customers who repeat the song word for word can win a free meal.
