Snapple: “Do Yourself a Flavour” - 62s

Tea and juice company Snapple harness the power of puppets in this trio of knowing, energetic commercials. Led by the pink-haired, Hawaiian shirt-wearing Fun Guy (we already feel for his neighbours), anthropomorphic fruits urge punters to "do themselves a flavour" and guzzle from the brand's now recyclable bottles.

Such aggressive jolliness works best in short bursts, so 30" and 15" outings feel just about right. Fun Guy’s entourage are a pithy, endearing bunch as well - we particularly like the brutal piece of interior design criticism from a peach. However, multicoloured puppets may not be enough to quell frustration at the brand's new packaging.
