Watch your step.

Short Films: “Foresight” - 60s

This pithy drama from director David Yorke offers a dark twist on rose-tinted glasses, as Tessa (Rachel Lin) finds her late grandmother's natty eyewear. They look the part and fit like a dream, but - as is often the way with items taken from a mysterious wooden box with a crimson glow - things soon take a disturbing turn.

Fans of Hong Kong horror movie 'The Eye' will appreciate the ocular trauma that unfolds, with Tessa horrified by what she sees. Imagine the world's worst Specsavers appointment and you're not far off. We won't spoil the reveal (even the most impatient horror fan can manage sixty seconds), but it's a satisfying jolt as Halloween approaches.
