Samsung: “Jim Moir” - 90s
One of two 90" Samsung films directed by Ben Falk, this instalment features the artist formerly known as Vic Reeves, Jim Moir. Shot in and around Moir's home in Kent, the commercial focuses on his twin passions: birdwatching and painting. Unfortunately for Shooting Stars fans, there's no reference to the hallowed Dove from Above. Instead, Falk captures Moir's childlike enthusiasm for birding, as well as his ability to create zany characters through both physical and digital media - namely, his Galaxy Tab S7+. It's a gentle, good-humoured introduction to the product's artistic capabilities, though not everyone has their own artist's studio to escape to right now.
