O2: “It's Good to Be Back” - 60s

Is the glass battery half full or half empty? This O2 commercial reckons the former, as the mobile network envision life post-pandemic. Scored by Anne-Marie and the House Gospel Choir's cover of 'O-o-h Child', the ad sees light peek through the curtains once again and punters finally ready to seize the day.

Much of these good vibes hinge on English lockdown restrictions ending on June 21st - otherwise the cast must contemplate further time spent indoors with Bubl the robot. Yet if all goes according to plan, director Maceo Frost and DP Joel Honeywell's warm, halcyon imagery will feel even more tangible.
