Natural attraction.

by Syd Briscoe

National Trust For Scotland: “I Love This Place” - 60s

This gorgeously shot love letter to Scotland comes courtesy of the National Trust for Scotland, who urge residents and visitors alike to preserve their much-loved land. The wealth of natural attractions are rendered delicately by director Charlie Thorne and cinematographer James Blann, as rolling hills, sun-dappled forests, and coastlines awash with crashing waves are given their moment in the spotlight.

Furthermore, a diverse cast helps emphasise the concept that Scotland is open to everyone - irrespective of skin colour, age, or sexuality - provided they all do their bit to maintain the land's unique flora and fauna. We're also impressed that the crew managed to find a string of sunny days to complete the shoot, as there's nary a drop of rain in sight.
