Matalan: “Love the Summer” - 30s

Buddy Holly provides the soundtrack to this likeable piece of work for Matalan. As ‘True Love Ways’ lilts in the background, the cast are too distracted by their reflections to notice much else. Thus, toast is stolen, liquids are spilled, and that plume of atmospheric smoke is revealed to be...well, a sign that dinner will be late.

It's familiar territory for this sector, but some extra visual polish and gentle humour courtesy of director Jim Gilchrist go a long way here. As confusion and frustration over foreign holidays mount, the brand insist there's still much to embrace this summer at home—starting with some new tops.
