Inside out.

by Syd Briscoe

Klarna: “Clothes Love All” - 45s

Does clothing have a prescribed gender, age, or ethnicity? Absolutely not, says this beautifully stylish ad from Klarna, who encourage audiences to buy now and pay later when it comes to expanding their wardrobe - however eccentric their choices may be. Colour, texture, and fabric are less important than how an outfit makes you feel, after all.

Accompanied by the house-influenced beat of Louie Vega's 'Deep Inside', the film follows various quirky characters as they tinker with their styles to best translate their insides to the outside. Canny puppet work on the clothes themselves (we particularly like a polo neck-cum-mouth) adds an extra layer of personality to proceedings, and brings the whole film together into one brightly-coloured, playful whole.
