Invisible Chips: “Fred Sirieix” - 60s

First Dates's Fred Sirieix speaks up on behalf of the hospitality industry as it faces a grave crisis because of the Covid-19 lockdown. And he takes the opportunity to explain an initiative designed to mitigate the financial difficulties which are confronting many of those who work in hotels, pubs, restaurants and cafés.

Invisible Chips is an app which enables anyone to contribute to a fund which will be distributed to those who work in hospitality who are currently unable to earn a living. It's an engaging and simple idea, and Sirieix switches between twinkly-eyed humour and sincere earnestness while setting it out.
