Say It Again

by Andrew MacGregor

Griff: “Say It Again” - 3 mins 37s

This timely effort from singer-songwriter Griff urges listeners to help a mate in their hour of need. The track offers a melodic shoulder to cry on, as Griff tells her friend "You don't tell me how you feel when you're sober, baby". The Watford-born artist admits she is "no saviour", but she knows the importance of speaking out when your mind is racing.

Thus, director Stephen Isaac-Wilson's accompanying visuals are both mellow and inviting, with shimmering production design and pastel backgrounds aplenty. The sudden introduction of a four-man dance troupe upsets the flow somewhat, but it's nonetheless reassuring to see people enjoying the beach responsibly.
