One Night

by Syd Briscoe

Griff: “One Night” - 2 mins 54s

There's a hint of Peter Pan to this intriguing promo for Griff's 'One Night'. The film sees the singer-songwriter pursue her shadow through bustling city streets and attempt to engage it in a dance-off, all while the thing takes on a mischievous life of its own.

Directors AB/CD/CD pace the action nicely here, as each of the fashion-focused artist's looks are given a turn in the spotlight for audiences to appreciate. Fluid choreography from Jay Revell also ensures that the pursuit's playful nature shines through the screen.

Quirky and carrying a note of yearning beneath the whimsy, the film provides a fitting complement to 'One Night's 'crying in the club' vibes. Fashion-conscious viewers may be encouraged to adopt the singer's experimental approach, too.
