Greenies: “Stick” - 15s
An impulsive pooch foils its owner's plans in this amusing ad for Greenies dog treats. The refreshingly pithy commercial sees a bloke stranded on an island Cast Away-style, finally on the verge of receiving help after his crudely-made sign attracts attention from a plane overhead. That is, until his dog gets involved. The result is a fun take on the day-to-day reality of life with pets, taking the mundane mischievous behaviour, playfulness, and frustration, and setting it against an exotic backdrop. It's not ideal when your pup gets to your plate before you, the film suggests, but at least their appetite won't keep you marooned. A potent argument for keeping them busy with more suitable snacks, too.
