Gojek: “The Flow” - 60s

This 60" Gojek commercial goes around in circles in the best way possible. Shot by director Henry Scholfield, the ad shows the app-based ride-hailing/courier service at full pelt... with American rivals Uber presumably stuck in traffic.

What begins as a woman's forlorn trip to the fridge morphs into a tour of the Globe of Death (a spherical cage for daredevil/unhinged motorcyclists) and ends up as a green-tinted rideathon. Even the apartment-bound protagonist feels the rush.

Thanks to some excellent transition shots from Scholfield and editor Joe Guest, the ad keeps viewers firmly in the loop and mindful of the brand's nimble wares. Those now used to quiet city streets may need a lie down afterwards though.
