I Grow Tired But Dare Not Fall Asleep

by Andrew MacGregor

Ghostpoet: “I Grow Tired But Dare Not Fall Asleep” - 4 mins 35s

Ghostpoet turns barfly in this grimly compelling promo for 'I Grow Tired But Dare Not Fall Asleep', with artist Obaro Ejimiwe seemingly content to drink the night away in a dive bar. Alas, fate has other plans in store for him.

Some fresh air (among other things) lands Ghostpoet in the emergency room, and, well, things just go from bad to worse after that. Anyone who suffers from a fear of being buried alive will 'enjoy' what director Thomas James and DP Morgan Sinclair have conjured up.

Their mix of first-person drama and feverish vignettes keep viewers on their toes, as does Ghostpoet's signature, quicksilver vocal delivery. Whether it's a night to remember or forget, it keeps you entranced from start to finish.
