Mach power.

Ford Mustang: “Mach-E” - 60s

Fans of American pony cars may be surprised by Ford's new spin on the classic Mustang. This zippy commercial introduces the all-electric Mach-E - a far cry from the models driven by Steve McQueen, Nicolas Cage, and Keanu Reeves, for example. Yet as Ford's revamped Puma shows, even big cats are subject to change.

The ad's prevailing mood is green and easy, with strategic shots of wind turbines emphasising a shift from the gas-guzzler era. The casting also feels progressive, with a mixed-race couple enjoying both town and country to the sound of Louis II's 'Ready To Go'. An absence of the garish electric futurescapes found in other EV ads is equally refreshing.
