FOMO - or the fear of missing out - has been in a strange place thanks to Covid-19. After all, there’s hardly been anything to miss out on since the middle of March. Domino’s Pizza’s own spin on the concept - the joy of missing out - returns with these 15” ads designed for maximum mixed media impact.
Sure enough, director Jon Riche uses live action, animation, and puppetry to show that a pizza delivery can salvage yet another night behind closed doors. Technicolour character designs make an immediate impression, while Denny Cooper’s grade has fun with the shift between the realm of Joy and our washed-out reality.
