We've been expecting you, Mr Bond... for bloody ages

by Jason Stone

DHL: “No Time To Die” - 90s

With the eagerly anticipated James Bond film 'No Time to Die' about to hit the silver screen after being delayed by the pandemic, DAVID can't help feeling that DHL have missed a trick. Surely they could have riffed on the idea of a late delivery, With DHL finally bringing the long-awaited movie to cinemas around the world.

Ah well… there are undoubtedly a million reasons why that didn't happen.

In place of our brilliant idea, 180 Amsterdam have at least managed to come up with something which unites the franchise's trademark adrenaline rides with the reassuring certainty of a reliable courier delivery. When James Bond speeds off in his Aston Martin just as he's about to be handed his package, the DHL driver calmly returns to his vehicle to receive an update on the delivery location, only to skirt the edges of a thrilling car chase as villainous black SUVs attempt to capture the world's most famous spy.

All in all, it's a great way to capitalise on the brand's association with the long running film series, and is sure to raise the fans' temperatures to fever pitch (but not in a Covidy way).
