Zero and hero.

by Syd Briscoe

Carlton: “Rewrite the Rules” - 30s

Low-to-no ABV beers have garnered a lot of popularity over the last few years, and Australian lager purveyors Carlton are the latest to offer up their take for judgement. While others have focused on discussing flavour and bubble quality, the brand choose to focus here on what one can achieve without the intoxicating effects of alcohol. Cue slapstick.

Messing with power tools in one's pants might not be the first thing most go to when considering the benefits of sobriety, but the protagonist has a more adventurous temperament. It's an amusing look at how summer fun can change with a simple switch-up, and may appeal to many who have found themselves drinking more to pass the time under lockdown.
