Boots: “Help Fight Hygiene Poverty” - 60s

Up-and-coming singer-songwriter Rachel Chinouriri provides the soundtrack to this 60” Boots commercial, which promotes the retailer’s festive tie-in with The Hygiene Bank. Since party season has been cancelled this year, attention shifts to those who need the bathroom/grooming essentials many of us take for granted.

As Chinouriri covers ‘What The World Needs Now’, director Silence Aitken-Till’s part-animated, all-singing cast includes soap, toothpaste, baby wipes, and loofahs, among other things. This may not be the Boots Christmas ad we're used to, but a new focus on charity and fundamental self-care rings true as a trying winter approaches.
