Argos: “Summer 2020” - 30s

Staycations are likely the closest any of us will get to a holiday this year, and Argos embrace the concept in their latest ad. The&Partnership and director Magnus Renfors's film sees a back garden transformed into the quintessential hip vacation spot, complete with dancing, lounging and and a, er, bucket hat-wearing dog.

This is achieved through a cleverly designed set piece, which uses kids’ toys, creative puppetry, and some dodgy dad fashion to recreate a club vibe at home. It's cheerful stuff ŕ la Paypal and Heck, encouraging viewers to spice up their garden experience however they can this summer. After all, time's a-wastin'.
