Director and photographer Molly Burdett is the latest to join the forward-thinking roster at Spindle.
Born and raised in Suffolk, Burdett studied graphic design at Chelsea College of Art. Having impressed with her degree show project 'Love Birds' (a documentary about Bromley Common Pigeon Racing Club), Burdett pursued filmmaking full-time.
She’s now a sought-after promo director, with multiple videos for Arlo Parks and Joesef under her belt. Burdett now aims to push herself further under Spindle’s guidance: "Knowing that I have such a supportive team behind me will enable me to grow creatively and to develop further as a director.
"With Spindle's fresh and passionate approach to filmmaking, I know we can do amazing things together."
Eager to make this happen is Spindle's managing partner Miles Nathan, who says: "Molly is a very special find. Her work with artists like Arlo Parks and Joesef capture humanity at its rawest and most poetic.
"Her effortless, unique visual style, ambition, and soulfulness are so rare, and we feel incredibly lucky to have her join us for the next chapter of her career. The sky is the limit for her, and we're so happy to help her develop her voice further with artists, agencies, and brands."
