Experienced comedy director Jon Riche has joined the roster at Another Film Co, and making audiences laugh isn't the only string to his bow. That's because he also knows his way around the world of animation having worked in both 2D and 3D as well as with puppets. And as if that isn't exciting enough, he's also a celeb wrangler par excellence.
Riche is perhaps at his absolute best when he gets the opportunity to combine comedy and puppets as in this striking commercial for The Woodsman Whiskey.
This mockumentary-style commercial from 2017 featuring Asim Chaudhry as a Happiness Officer offered Riche the opportunity to inject a bit of mania into an ordinarily staid sector and it more or less punches you in the face with its energy... in a good way.
Jon Riche has also worked with luminaries such as Sharon Horgan, Gordon Ramsay, Romesh Ranganathan, Sara Pascoe, and Graham Norton... and he's picked so many advertising awards that our fingertips would go numb if we typed them all out.
