Film Klaxon: Lotus.

by Andrew MacGregor

A new film by director Ollie Wolf aims to ''celebrate the transformative force of the bike'' in the vein of Skate Kitchen, Rocks, or Mid90s.

Wolf, whose credits include Five Star Fouad and The Last Forever Woman, has launched a Kickstarter for the project set in Knives Down, Bikes Up era London. All being well, viewers will join thirteen-year-old novice Frankie for the ride.

"For a young girl at the start of her career I hope that Lotus will become a powerful calling card," Wolf says. "The bike crew that Frankie engages with will be cyclists cast directly from this scene, so we're truly reflecting what is happening on the streets of London in 2021."
