Film Klaxon: Isaac.

by Andrew MacGregor

When a commentator says "It's been a tough road for Isaac Chamberlain" he means it. Chamberlain was almost caught by the police on his first and last day as a twelve-year-old drug mule in Brixton.

The answer was Miguel's boxing gym in Brixton, where he not only learned how to fight, but also how to keep his emotions in check. His subsequent rise to prominence caught the eye of journalist Donald McRae, who wrote two in-depth articles about the former British and Commonwealth cruiserweight champion.

These were then read by director George Messa, and 'Isaac' the documentary was born. Check out the trailer below to see what all the fuss is about, with muscular sound design from George Nicol at Wave Studios and a feisty grade courtesy of Shuen Zhou at JAM VFX.
