When DAVID heard that Channel 4 were #PositivelyPurple, we thought the broadcaster were just obsessed with Quality Street. The real reason has nothing to do with milk chocolate, caramel, and hazelnut, and everything to do with International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
To mark the occasion, Channel 4 have made a series of idents with British Sign Language (BSL), subtitles, and a traditional voice-over that focus on disabled employees. Professional development network PurpleSpace reckon there are around three hundred and eighty six million disabled people in the global workforce, so Channel 4 wish to celebrate strength in numbers.
