Director and photographer Joe Howat says it feels "very surreal" to join CANADA for exclusive representation. The Londoner, whose work includes a string of music videos for Downtown Kayoto, adds: "I'm extremely honoured to be signed with such a strong group of creatives who continue to push the boundaries.
"It's very refreshing to see CANADA putting so much attention and effort into the creative ideas of their projects—I remember watching their recent 'Sirens' video and being in awe of the scale and ideas they managed to execute. This is a massive step up for me and I'm super excited for what's to come."
That leads managing director Marta Bobic to say: "Joe's work is equal parts story, substance, and style. Every shot drives the story forward. He's a fresh talent with a modern eye and a bright future ahead of him, and we couldn't be more excited to support him on that journey." As she and Howat prepare for his CANADA debut, check out the promo for 'Came Thru' by Downtown Kayoto. It's clear that Howat and Kayoto (or Chiko Chinyadza, to his mum and dad) get on like a house on fire, as it's the fourth collaboration between the pair. If and when promo number five drops, expect CANADA to make a big deal out of it.
