An isolated success.

giffgaff: “Putting Community First” - 20s

Cometh the hour, cometh the campaign... when giffgaff launched their current strand of advertising a couple of months ago, who could have guessed that its homemade qualities would swiftly become de rigueur?

Ironically, the production values of this commercial - shot on reconditioned mobile phones - make it look positively luscious compared with the first few films emerging from the national quarantine.

The brand's recurring theme of 'community' is a good fit as the whole country slowly comes to terms with the need to think beyond our own selfish priorities. Each of these Scottish contributors offers a brief statement about the importance of pulling together, creating an important message about the need for social interaction during this time of 'social distancing'.

It's appropriate message and it is perfectly 'of the moment' as we adjust to a new way of being in the face of the virus threat.
