A whipping yarn.

by Andrew MacGregor

Yopa: “Smooth Move” - 60s

Creative agency Mother's Yopa debut stars Indiana Jones in a dressing gown… well, sort of. Having previously tapped the likes of Mo Farah and the Village People, the online estate agency's latest spokesman is a bloke armed with a bullwhip - and he'll find any excuse to use it.

Accompanied by Devo's ‘Whip It', the protagonist goes about his morning routine like a domesticated cowboy. His skill is indisputable, but even he cedes to the brand's expertise in selling a house.

Even if the sound of a cracked whip ultimately grates over 60", it's a diverting blend of showmanship and suburban banality - conveniently both key tenets of an estate agent's job description.
