The Soho set.

by Andrew MacGregor

W Hotels: “Eliza x Patience Harding” - 2 mins 37s

Fans of early twenty-tens chart music will recognise the dulcet tones of Eliza (formerly known as Eliza Doolittle) in this piece for W Hotels and Mixcloud. Although the film doesn't really explain as much, this peculiar mash-up of brands is to give young artists and creatives a leg-up... such as set designer Patience Harding.

Part behind-the-scenes documentary, part love note to Soho, director Hugh Rochfort's film offers a diverting if surface-level insight into both Harding and Eliza's respective crafts. Shot in shades of mood lighting and film grain, the work saunters along with a welcome sense of optimism during what Eliza modestly calls "this strange time".
