Urban Decay: “Pretty Different” - 60s

What better way to give your brand a boost (on these shores anyway) than to luckily feature Glastonbury 2019's breakout performers in your latest ad? That's the position Urban Decay find themselves in with this punchy ad starring rapper and body positive campaigner Lizzo.

She's joined by actors Joey King and Ezra Miller, South Korean artist CL, and Colombian singer Karol G in rejecting beauty filters and reality-warping paraphernalia. For this lot, putting on your face is more than skin deep.

It obviously helps when your cast is so photogenic to begin with, which does muddle the cosmetics brand's message somewhat. One can't fault Young Replicant's execution, though, as he delivers a spunky and energetic make-up session.
