Novocaine

by Syd Briscoe

Twin Atlantic: “Novocaine” - 3 mins 55s

Glasgow rockers Twin Atlantic return in style with a new single and a colourful promo to match. 'Novocaine' sees the group in contemplative mood, evoking feelings of synesthesia and fractured memories as they chase the lingering impressions of past loves down twisted, and often cryptic, rabbit holes.

Working with the limitations of red, green, and blue lighting to create a dreamlike effect, director Alex Nicholson has created something which is at once visceral and almost ethereal in its imagery. While the band sing about "mutilated romance" and "foolish electric hearts", this film offers an immersive sensory experience for viewers to get their eyes and ears into.
