The 1975: “People” - 2 mins 52s

The 1975 are in fine form on latest single 'People', with the raucous track serving as a call to action for those dim enough not to realise the world is literally on fire. The accompanying promo opens with a warning for those with photosensitive epilepsy... and its necessity becomes apparent after only a few strobe-spattered seconds.

Performing inside a digital cube, the band rip their way through scuzzy riffs surrounded by hectic projections of internet images, psychedelic patterns, and pictures of destruction. Front man Matt Healy pulls his best rock star shapes throughout, as he screams about "girls, food, gear". Plenty to digest for both the eyes and ears.
