Death by design.

by Andrew MacGregor

Short Films: “Learn” - 10 mins 33s

A fashion designer's work-life balance goes haywire in this arch short film. Low on inspiration and surrounded by two-faced underlings, Karine Vanasse's impresario conceives the ultimate fashion statement. Let's just say it's to die for.

Her ‘masterpiece’ is vividly realised; a web of crimson threads that resemble blood spurts. Such work inspires at least one fashionista to pursue her dream job. Or should that be nightmare?

PrettyBird’s Jodeb riffs on the First World Problems meme via haute couture. Occupying the same realm as Nicolas Winding Refn's 'The Neon Demon', the film leaves its vacuous characters open to ridicule. Just make sure you have your own priorities straight first.
