Mind mischief.

Short Films: “Frank's Joke (trailer)” - 35s

Those who have ever told a joke only to be met by deflating silence will sympathise with the felt-skinned protagonist of ‘Frank's Joke' - a short film that examines how one insignificant blip can consume us until the early hours.

Director and animator Ed Bulmer's 35" trailer offers a vivid glimpse of Frank's torment, as he spirals into insomnia after a poorly-received gag. As sandwiches multiply in his fridge and floating sheep evade his grasp, Frank's ill-fated quip may be the end of him.

Curious viewers needn't wait to find out, however, as the full film is now available to view here. Unlike poor Frank's joke, it is a laughing matter.
