Santander: “Antandec” - 90s

What if Ant & Dec diversified into the world of high street banking? That's the premise of this fun piece of work for Santander featuring the world's least qualified financiers - and there have been many candidates for that title in recent years.

Naming their start-up ‘Antanddec', the pair sketch out their unconventional business strategy - such as in-branch cups of micro-coffee and posting homebuyers their new purchases brick by brick. Needless to say, it's blue-sky thinking at its worst.

Even so, the duo's typical enthusiasm makes it easy to get on board, with the ad's mockumentary conceit generating some well-earned laughs. Good to see the brand make the most of their celebrity talent for a change, too.
