Royal Mail: “Elton John” - 2 mins 59s

This sweet little documentary from the Royal Mail introduces us to Shani - an Elton John superfan who has followed her idol around the world since 1973. As the man born Reginald Kenneth Dwight's 'Tiny Dancer' plays in the background, Shani describes how Elton's music, fashion sense, and stage presence continue to enthral nearly fifty years later.

Those expecting the man himself to make an appearance in Shani's front room will be disappointed - something tells us Elton isn't cheap, after all. A long overdue letter, however, provides a thoroughly charming outcome and suggests that there is still a place for fan correspondence in the selfie era.
