Public Health: “Every Mind Matters” - 60s

A new mental health action plan intends to get more people access to the resources they need, according to this informative ad. Featuring celebrities including Professor Green and Glenn Close, among many others, the campaign directs those who are struggling and in need of support to an NHS website which helps them create a personal plan to get back on their feet.

Arguably, the ad - which is voiced by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and Duke and Duchess of Cambridge - has worked too well. After all, any commercial which leads to the accompanying website crashing must be doing something right. Crucially, however, it shows how much demand there is for preventative mental health support.
