A tall order.

Paddy Power: “Peter Partner” - 3 mins 17s

Some might call Peter Crouch’s post-football career in media, advertising, and podcasting a success; others, like Paddy Power, call it “overkill”. That’s the launch pad for this amusing piece of work from the Irish bookmaker, which playfully brings the former England and Stoke City striker down a peg or fifteen.

Both Crouch and Paddy Power himself deliver game performances as usual, but it’s retired jockey Ruby Walsh who steals the show as Crouch’s cynical guide to horse racing. Add nods to MMA wannabes and cyclist-turned-jockey Victoria Pendleton to the mix and you’ve got an effective satire on the capricious nature of viral marketing.
