Paddy Power: “Kop Kid” - 1 min 34s

If you can't rely on Rafael Benítez, who can you rely on? That's the premise of this tongue-in-cheek effort from Paddy Power released before this season's penultimate round of Premier League fixtures.

Shot in black-and-white with the gravitas of a charity film, the ad calls on ex-Liverpool manager Benítez to do his former team a solid by letting the title contenders beat current side Newcastle. After all, "once a Red, always a Red".

No doubt the brand will claim an assist for the actual result the actual result, though it remains to be seen whether fans like Gary - a nicely judged portrayal of top-flight disappointment - will ultimately witness the success they crave. Roll on Sunday 12th May.
