All For One

Ovo: “War on Carbon” - 60s

While the threat of climate change may feel like an insurmountable burden when faced with the cold hard facts, there is hope to be had. Bristol-based energy company Ovo focus on that proactive attitude in their latest ad, which addresses the ongoing and essential “war on carbon”.

Agency 20something and director Siri Bunford focus on togetherness and the collective power of humans to enact meaningful change, as we see energy consumers from different walks of life comprise the home front, so to speak.

For better or worse, such charged language feeds into the current wartime mindset. Poet Hollie McNish's earnest voiceover, however, provides some much-needed personality to the spot, making it stand out from the crowd.
