Where the magic happens.

Oppo: “Ingenious Factory” - 40s

Chinese phone manufacturers Oppo join the European market with a bang with this fanciful commercial. Focusing on what initially seems like a normal phone factory, things quickly take a turn for the artistic as Oppo engineers go to fantastical lengths to pack their smartphones with all kinds of desirable gubbins.

From full-sized zoom lenses shrunk down to pocket size to colourful pixels poured into the phone's casing like fancy sand, it's a tactile, stylish way to bring the wonder back into what can feel like a sterile industry. Directing team Us certainly have the brand's playful ethos down - we particularly like the miniature dragon trapped inside the screen.
