Ok Go: Obsession

by Andrew MacGregor

Ok Go: “Obsession” - 3 mins 43s

What do get when you combine one experimental rock band, five-hundred-and-sixty-seven printers, and a forest's worth of paper? OK Gos latest promo, of course.

Since 2005s breakout video for 'Here It Goes Again', the band have become synonymous with meticulously-crafted promos. Now the Los Angeles four-piece hit 'Print' on a ridiculous scale.

Directors Damian Kulash and Yusuke Tanaka push each ink cartridge to breaking point. Thus, A4 wormholes and clever physical elements produce an inkjet kaleidoscope.

Just when you think their mammoth print job is over, the band deliver a high-wire finale. Obsessive behaviour rarely looked or sounded so good. One-hundred-percent recyclable, too.

Director: Damian Kulash (repped in the UK by Park Pictures Ⓟ Ⓦ)
