Webb alert.

by Andrew MacGregor

Now TV: “Robert Webb” - 60s

Advertising journeyman Robert Webb is back on our screens, and the erstwhile Post Office, Compare The Market, and Churchill spokesman has a new gig courtesy of Now TV. Here, the comedian takes on his (second) most physically demanding role: a family television.

Sure enough, Webb sits cross-legged on an entertainment unit while clutching a TV aerial. He seems chuffed about his position, but the same can't be said for those sat on the sofa opposite.

This is where the advertised streaming service comes in, with the brand neatly demonstrating how viewers can augment their existing set-up. Unfortunately for Webb, it may be an especially invasive procedure.
