Movember Foundation: “Take Our Words For It” - 30s

This well-cast piece for Movember shows how viewers can still support their fellow man during lockdown… although there may be some technical issues to iron out first. From wonky camera angles to friends bathed in darkness, it’s the lockdown equivalent of trying to find a table in a crowded pub.

The fate of one Zoom user, Connor, is left amusingly unclear, as his Australian friend shouts into the ether. However, the real crux of the ad comes when one bloke reveals how lockdown is affecting his mental health.

The connection shared between him and his pal - both emotionally and technically - is highly relatable, offering low-key encouragement months before the charity’s annual moustache-athon.
