A journey through sound.

by Jason Stone

Jägermeister: “Be The Meister” - 60s

The strikingly original piece for Jägermeister successfully cements the idea that this brand is a nexus of hedonism. Opening on a pair of DJs blasting a new vibe into the ether, the film takes us on a journey which suggests that life can be a whole lot more fun when filtered through the prism of the advertised drink.

The commercial takes the viewer on an exhilarating journey which is threaded throughout with moments designed to underline the idea that your senses will be amplified by the Jägermeister experience.

There are some great set pieces along the way… none more so than the suspended bus. At last Monday's CraftWorks, we learned how this was achieved, and it was a fascinating insight into the commitment of all involved.

DAVID is a big admirer of director Ben Strebel, and delighted to witness this latest indication that he is making steady progress towards the top of the tree.
