Poo pride.

by Andrew MacGregor

James Wellbeloved: “Well Chuffed” - 83s

We humans tend to keep matters of defecation to ourselves, so to speak. Like money, politics, and religion, it's hardly prime small talk material, nor is it anything to boast about - Sebastian the dog, on the other hand, has no such qualms.

The Weimaraner kicks off one of four droll ads for James Wellbeloved, which focus on cat and dogs with various dietary requirements. Fortunately, the brand's comprehensive range of grub means more of our four-legged friends can smugly enjoy the fresh air.

Each self-satisfied pet is accompanied by a burst of classical music, as well as broadcaster John Lloyd's wry voiceover. Simply hearing a Radio 4 presenter utter the phrase "sixth consecutive firm poo" makes this campaign worth tuning in for.
