Hot Chip: “Spell” - 3 mins 37s

This touchy-feely promo for Hot Chip's 'Spell' sees a romantic night in take a turn for the weird. Director Simon Owens subverts expectations with a wry take on make-scenes, as a couple getting frisky with each other suddenly find an unexpected third party in the mix.

There's lovely puppetry work on display here, as a bedsheet slowly creeps across undulating limbs to reach its target and a pair of pillows begin a triumphant song of victory. Comfy and discomfitting in equal measure, this should make any Tinder users think twice before their next swipe right.
